Depending on how high I set the graphic settings this ranges from 100 to 20 FPS while CPU is at 100% but GPU is 0,1 with the weird “GPU 0 – Copy” in the task manager. Disable the V-Sync and you will get maximum FPS and GPU usage. CPU usage hover around 15%-20% while GPU rarely goes over 60% but I am only getting 50-55fps in busy area.
60fps only out int the middle of nowhere when hardly any other players around. It is not a CPU bottleneck but your GPU usage needs to be higher. Are you using limiting FPS using FreeSync or have V-Sync enabled?
Effective Plans For Driver Support – The Basics
It is not a PSU issue unless you are having random restarts or shutdowns during gaming. according to MSI afterburber and HWinfo my max CPU temp is 48°C and my max GPU temp is 50°C after 40mins of PUBG. My previous gpu gta xfx rx 580 would hit 70°C in few minutes.
then may be it has to do something with Windows 10 updates. For example with Assassin’s Creed Origins I got 45fps average 1080p Ultra High , GPU Temperature is 65°C and CPU 55°C. V-Sync is off. And the same problem in other game like Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts. Can you please report the CPU and GPU usage using MSI afterburner software.
Open Resource Monitor in Windows and see what programs are causing 100% HDD usage. After 120 en high-epic lobby and nos 109 fps high-epic.
Deciding Upon Methods In Device Manager
- I had to make fps boost changes then apex it runs at 40 fps and spikes to 60 normally very laagy.
- I got 80% gpu usage instead of 65% and I got around 50 to 70 fps.
- 100% GPU usage is good and VRAM usage is dependent on games, graphics settings and resolution.
- Use DDU to uninstall graphics drivers and try some older nvidia drivers.
- so I cranked up the in game settings as you said to maximum.
I have an Alienware M15 r2 with the OLED 4K UHD display. I’m wondering if you have a suggestion for me regarding my gpu utilization. I suggest to use MSI Afterburner to monitor your CPU & GPU usage and report them here. No matter what ingame graphic settings I apply it only seems to use CPU and therefore when I crank AMD drivers for Windows up the graphic settings over what my CPU alone can handle I encounter low FPS.
But in the GPU when I have the jerks I see that the usage drops to 1% and it is a WTF for me. Windows has been updated several times since the issue occured. Its a new pc so there shouldnt be any malware, neither are any other programs running in the background, i am completely lost. and in fortnite i get about 200fps with all low with 1920x1080p with 3d res at 90%. Well, RX 5600 XT is more power efficient than RX 580 because of 7nm RDNA architecture and has lower temperatures.
– In the column Graphics Settings, assign the High Performance profile to the game. Here click on Change plan settings to the plan that is selected here. Below you can see that the default selected plan is Balanced. – A temporary workaround for this problem is to raise your game resolution to highest if you haven’t done it already. This will cause your GPU to work more and it will have much higher utilization than before.
the gpu i bought is used , but not for mining , also my PSU is 400w 80+ bronze and i think it’s sufficient . I have also set my 1050 to be used in the control panel. I think the V-sync is limiting your GPU usage which is normal. Try turning off V-Sync and then monitor the GPU usage. I Have vsync on , 144hz and I get over 100 fps on history mode.
